The mall has really gone downhill in the last few years. There's a ton of vacant stores, and the ones that are there are not super unique or interesting. Naturally I have my staples that I go to, but I just wish they'd do more to try to encourage businesses to fill the stalls.
A nice sized, clean mall with many stores to choose from. Unfortunately JC Penney has recently left and the food court is down to one restaurant, but it's still as good a place as any to visit and shop around. Regal Cinemas sharing the same parking lot also boosts foot traffic between movie showings.
Unfortunately, New River Valley Mall has really gone down hill. The JC Penney has recently closed. Restaurants in the food court have followed suit. The local community college had a major school shooting in the mall; even if you didn't hear about it on the news every loss of life in a school shooting is major. The mall is left with a vacant and abandoned feeling; don't waste your time going there.
A nice indoor shopping mall. Stores are changing hands occasionally and food court here has good options. More restaurants more stores and a movie theater and bowling/amusement center are all nearby, most within walking distance. Huckleberry trail runs alongside this place.
A decent mall. Not a lot of stores and the ones that are there seem to be the same you see in every mall. Still it's not a bad place to shop.
