Ah, Der Vaffle Haus! My favorite stop for breakfast. Good food and friendly service. Whether they're busy or not, you'll get served quickly and the food is up to par. The hash browns are one of my favorite items as you can add ingredients on your own to make them unique.
Our server Michelle was great, loved the staff. We are uncultured swine and did not know what grits were but ordered it anyway and hated it, Michelle happily replaced it with home fries, food was great. Atmosphere was fantastic if you like a place stuck in time
Waffle House is always a good choice! Fast service, good food, and ample space. I always come here on weekend mornings because the one in Blacksburg is so small. Clean, affordable, and delicious!

Got the all star for my break at work, extra sausage, and a soft drink. This is what I always get so I know what the price should be. A girl I worked with was sent to get it with 15 dollars with me knowing that should be more than enough. She comes back and I have no change left an was told she had to put an extra dollar with it to pay for it. Come to find out the girl working obviously added her self in a tip with each of our orders before ringing it up. So it cost over 16 dollars for the one meal. Tired calling to ask for a answer and they wouldn't answer the phone. I will not be going here again. It's one thing if you actually wait on me yes you deserve a tip. But if it's a to go order no. Will be calling to speak to a manager in the morning!
