For the price it was a very nice stay.
Obviously, the staff doesn’t care about their accommodations as all these are easily corrected on a typical quality control walkthrough.
We arrived after midnight and were greeted by a friendly front desk person. We were checked in quickly qnd told about the free breakfast. The room was clean, and decent. Was it the Marriott? No. Did I pay $250 for the night? No, I paid 66.
My first and last time staying at an EconoLodge. You may be better off sleeping in your car at a rest area...seriously.
Paid $150 for a room that wasn’t worth $50. Only reason they can get this much is because it was during Virginia Tech football weekend.
For the money, this is a really nice, clean, basic place to stay. Right off the highway has plenty of eating places nearby. Property is very well maintained with the rooms updated to current standards. Im glad I selected this one.
Great bang for your buck, needed a hotel off 81 and this was perfect location. Room smelt a little musky but once the a/c was on you were good to go. Pool was nice and breakfast was decent
Are you looking for a cheap hotel room right off the highway with a pool? If so then this is your hotel. We had the king room. The bed was firm but I don't mind a firm bed so it was alright. Room smelled a bit musky but for the sweet price of $68 the smell just seemed to crawl out under the door. Room had a nice tv and good shower/bathroom. Ac was good as was service. Breakfast included oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and English muffins. Honestly can't complain about this place. A Honda dealership was nearby with a bunch of old cars. Enjoyed my stay.
Secondary security latch practically falling off door, no alarm clock, front door didn’t seal properly causing bad draft.
