Eh, I'm sorry. I know he's doing the best he can, but the purpose of this review is to save you (the consumer) valuable time and spare you inevitable frustration.
I have moved several times and never had such slow or disorganized service. I would choose another location unless you have considerable time to kill.
The gentleman running the uhaul/army surplus/video store is getting on in years. He tries his best to take care of his customers, but he is usually there alone when there are 5 people in line. He becomes noticeably frustrated when trying to deal with the computer. Many customers left their information ahead of time, and after 20 minutes per customer, he will ask for the same information again. Trucks are never guaranteed, which means you may have to settle for a larger truck/smaller truck, or no truck at all.
Could not have asked for better service. I was in and out in under 5 mins both for pick up and drop off. The truck was loaded with the equipment I requested and I was on my way! I would definitely recommend this location to others.
The guys that run this place are great and really helped make my move easier.
I'm not going into my whole story, but I will tell you what I've seen.
I've done business with this guy for years. Everything from buying random surplus items to uhual rental. This guy is always really cool. To me at least. Maybe some of these other ppl just can't handle someone in front of them in line? Who knows. But I wouldn't judge this place on that review. The gentleman has always been nice to me. Everything was fast and cheap for the rental this past week.
If you are in line, expect to wait at least an hour for service. DOCUMENT everything and have it with you.
These guys are great! They helped me figure out the best solution for transporting a vehicle, dealt with me changing my reservation, and hooked the truck and trailer up to make sure it was all ready to go when I came to pick it up.
