The United Way is a great orginization that helps the community in so many different ways. They have events, such as Valentines in Vegas that are not only a really great time, but the money goes to a really great cause!
United Way does a fantastic job of supporting non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, Radford, and Floyd. I am in a business networking group with the executive director and get to see first-hand how they partner with local businesses to support a lot of really great causes. If you run a non-profit organization in the area and you are not working with United Way, you need to contact them ASAP.
This organization has been assisting the community through countless, & many unrecognized ways. From boxing up Thanksgiving dinners, to backpack programs for children. THANK YOU for the love you share!!
The United Way of Montgomery Radford and Floyd does an amazing job serving our community. All money raised by our local United Way stays in our local community helping those in need. They connect local people with the resources they need. The United Way supports 26 partner agencies - many of whom would not be in existence without support from the United Way. This year's Stuff the Bus campaign helped more than 600 children start the school year with the supplies needed for a successful year. Last Year's Holiday Food Drive helped more than 1500 local families enjoy a holiday meal, and the Toys from the Heart program gave Christmas to families that had last minute emergencies or who could not be served by other programs. Your gift dollars are well spent by YOUR LOCAL UNITED WAY!
